General Hospital of Tibet Military Command was founded in November 1949 with a history of 60 years, is the clinic college of medicine of Third Military Medical University in Lhasa and teaching hospital of Tibet University and the first “upper first-class” hospital in Tibet Autonomous Region integrating medical services, scientific research, education and health care. Unshielded PUCKAC CAT6 wires are used for the hospital’s wiring project. The entire wiring system was mobilized at the end of May, 2011, and it is predicated to be finish the installation and test in the middle of July.

The Hospital covers an area of over 410,000m2 and a floorage of over 70,000m2. There are 4 organs, 14 administrative offices and 29 clinical and medico-technical offices, Research Center of PLA for Prevention and Treatment of High Mountain Sickness, Trauma Center of Chengdu Military Command, Preparation Center of Tibet Military Command, Key Medical Laboratory of Tibet Military Command, the Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and other departments and institutes. A full range of PUCKAC products are used for the hospital’s wiring project, those are up to, even far beyond the international standard and outstanding in the performance under harsh conditions of nature and construction in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Networked management system and national remote medical consultation system of PLA both has reached the advanced level in Tibet Autonomous Region. A total of 4000 points of information were established for the project, all wiring system met the standard of cold-proof in the plateau, were excellent in protecting bush and exceed international standards. The performance of PUCKAC wiring systems under abominable natural conditions was recognized by end users.
